About Me:

My story: Since I was a child, I have always had a desire to help people. As a young adult, I began working with at risk children through the City of Dallas Parks and Recreation Department. I found that I enjoyed working with this population and seeing the things they could accomplish. I went to college planning to become a teacher. I quickly realized that I enjoyed helping kids with their problems and listening to their concerns much more than I enjoyed teaching. Consequently, I pursued a career in counseling.

My Counseling Philosophy: Counseling is the process of change. Change is difficult. As a therapist my role is to partner with you to identify areas of your life that you want to improve and change. Together, we will problem solve and discover new ways to address life’s challenges.
