About Anne
Anne earned her bachelor’s degree in 1996 from Austin College, and her master’s degree in 1999 from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University. Anne has worked in a variety of settings including residential, hospital, outpatient, and day treatment. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Anne is a Master ART practitioner (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

FAQs
How long do appointments usually last? 45 to 50 minutes.
What is an LCSW? Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
What is the difference between a psychologist and a clinical social worker? They can both provide counseling services. Psychologists may provide testing services, social workers often do not.
Do you accept insurance? No, however I am happy to provide a receipt for you to file with your insurance for reimbursement.
How frequently will we meet? This is dependent upon you and your needs. Some clients need a weekly appointment, while others need less frequent appointments.
What should I expect from counseling? I will work with you to define counseling goals. We will use our time in counseling to work on accomplishing your goals. Together, we will evaluate progress.
How much does therapy cost? Anne works on a sliding scale with fees based on gross income.
What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)? The therapist guides the client to replace negative images in their mind that can cause symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress with positive images. Once those negative images have been replaced by positive ones, the triggers will be gone.
Do you prescribe medication? No. Only a medical doctor or nurse practitioner can prescribe medication. I work in tandem with several psychiatrists. If we decide that a medication evaluation is necessary, I can assist you in choosing a doctor.
